A fourth generation Kiwi and a major share holder in Instrumatics. Ben has worked with Instrumatics for 30 years performing roles within in sales, service and commissioning. He has an extensive knowledge of NZ Primary Industries, infrastructure and the general NZ market, together with significant expertise in measurement technologies; Ben has presented papers at industry conferences and seminars on topics such as level, gas detection, flow, temperature, pH and water quality. Prior to Instrumatics, Ben worked and trained in sales and engineering roles within several other NZ based Instrumentation companies. He is a “Fellow” of the New Zealand Institute of Measurement and Control (IMC), with invaluable knowledge and experience in the New Zealand instrumentation sector. Well respected within the industry as a person who gets things done. Binny has a strong background in Electrical and Instrumentation: both hands-on technical experience and sales support within the industry. Time spent within the Oil and Gas industry in Kuwait, supporting leading brands in instrumentation ensures Binny has a strong knowledge base to support client sales inquiries. Binnys friendly and professional persona will ensure clients not only receive the advice they need, but will enjoy the relationship which he will develop.
Ardi holds a Bachelor in AgriCommerce Majoring in International Agribusiness with electives in Environmental Science and Maori Management. This has given him extensive knowledge of the agribusiness industries. Coupled with his engineering experience at a leading meat production plant, Ardi will quickly gain an understanding of client needs in order to recommend effective monitoring solutions.
With several years experience in the Sales and Marketing of technical products, Derek brings a client-focused culture to Instrumatics. He has been a company shareholder since 2004, so has an understanding of all aspects of the business - both internal and within the market. He has been involved with ownership and management of a number of import distribution companies within the industrial, construction, retail and signage industries. Derek strives to ensure the team delivers services and products to customers in the most efficient and friendly manner. He welcomes customer feedback of any kind, particularly if the information will lead to the company offering an improved client experience.
Before becoming a shareholder with Instrumatics, Roger worked directly since 1982 for VEGA in both the UK and Germany with International responsibilities. In the mid 90’s he took up the position of international Product Manager for Radar, based in Germany at the head office, responsibilities included training of VEGA companies and agencies on Radar technology. He subsequently moved to Australia as Asia Pacific Sales Manager focused on Regional Business Development, He has been a NZ resident since 2005, Prior to Vega, Roger's background was in technical service and Research and Development. Roger’s 30 years plus of considerable expertise in Level measurement and detection technology is invaluable. Vincent has extensive experience within the gas detection and automation industries. His skills have been used both in New Zealand and Internationally ranging from safety gas detection to instrument diagnosis/repair, all the way to environmental air analysis
Balraj is a highly motivated person, passionate about electronics and electrical systems. Holding extensive international instrumentation qualifications allows Balraj to apply learned skills to process and safety equipment repairs for Instrumatics. Balraj operates both from the the in-house workshop and travels to client locations for completion of calibration, repair and maintenance tasks. His friendly manner will be welcomed when you speak to him with your query.
Floreen comes to Instrumatics with a Diploma in Accounting, a smile and much history in managing accounts, logistics and office management. Floreen is your first contact when you call Instrumatics - she will offer required advice and transfer you to the correct person as you require. She is also responsible for administering accounts (both payable and receivable). Floreen manages orders from our range of suppliers, in addition to distribution of orders to our New Zealand clients.
